the chosen images for 'sub' at the book fair

For my final location photography work, I chose to photograph my bed. In my room it is ideally located for this work - with the bedroom light pointed at it, but shielded from it at the same time by the roofs supporting wall.
In the mirror, the flipped room suggests dreaming.

I did some research into Nan Goldin and Terry Richards due to more natural lighting technique i wanted to use, but essentially found them unhelpful.

in the lesson we used reflectors to bring out the side of the face in shadow. These were used to separate the subject from the background, creating a much more 3D image.
